어떤 생각은 깊이 하면 해롭다. 어떤 고뇌는 곧장 절망으로 이어진다.

근데 도착해야 할 미래의 이정표를 너무 먼 곳에다 세워놓으니까, 현재가 전부 미래를 위한 재료가 되더라고. 자세 하나 고치는 거, 그 자체가 목표야. 그다음? 그런 거 없어. 그냥 하나라도 온전하게 끝까지 해보고 싶어.

화가 난 것처럼 보였지만 사실은 아팠다. 그리고 꼭 지켜야 하는 것이 무너져 붕괴하는 순간에도 그는 마음이 아프다고 말할 용기가 없어 그냥 사납게 집을 박차고 나오는 걸 택한 것이다. 어리숙하고 미련하게.

삶의 가장 큰 딜레마는 그것이 진행한다는 것이다. 삶은 방향도 목적도 없이 흐른다.

그리고 내 보기에 당신은 잘 살아온 것 같아요. 계속 삶에 대해 알아내려고 애쓰는 건 아무나 하는 게 아니니까요. 그러니까 잘했어요. 아주, 잘했습니다.

<아몬드>를 너무 재미있게 읽고나서, 작가님의 또 다른 책을 찾아 읽었다.
<아몬드>가 청소년을 위한 소설이었다면, <튜브>는 어른을 위한 소설 느낌.
아몬드만큼 쭈욱 읽히진 않았지만, 씁쓸하게 공감되고 끄덕거리는 부분이 좀 있었다.

인상깊었던 구절들을 보며 여러 생각이 들었다.

생각의 힘은 대단한 것이었다. 생각은 꼬리에 꼬리를 물고, 깊이가 없이 빠져들게 되는 것 같다.
그런데 생각은 도약하기 위한 발판이 되어야하는데,
나에게는 거의 대부분 생각하다가 그 자리에 머물고만 마는 것 같다.
쓸데없이 너무 많은 생각, 너무 깊은 생각뿐이었나보다.

자세 하나 고치는 거, 그 자체가 목표라는 이야기는 뭔가 용기가 나게 해주었다. 
작은 것 하나하나 이뤄가다보면 어느 순간 정말 많은 것을 이루었을 나를 보게 될 것 같은 기대!!

나는 세월이 갈수록 아프다고 말하는게 더 어려워지고,
누군가 내게 잘 하고 있다고 한마디 하면 바로 눈시울부터 붉어져버리게 되었다.
몸이 아프다는 말도 어려운데 마음 아픈 일을 어떻게 얘기할까..
혼자 삼켜내는 것이 너무 익숙해져서 혼자 있곤한다. 어리숙하고 미련하게.

책의 결론(?) 이라고 할 만한 것이 해피엔딩이라 할 순 없지만, 

삶, 실패, 그리고 진짜 나를 찾아가는 과정 같은 느낌이라 미소지으며 책을 덮을 수 있었다.

한 사람의 성공기라고는 말할 수 없지만,
한 사람의 성장기라고는 말할 수 있을 것 같았던 책.

실패의 연속인 삶이지만, 매 순간 최선을 다해서 살아가는 것이
제일 잘하고 있는 것임을 기억하면서 살기!

오랜만에 블로그에 글을 올리네요. 

요즘 제가 겪은 일들로 인해 한동안 불면증에 시달렸었는데요, 여러가지 방법을 찾아보고 노력해서 지금은 많이 좋아졌답니다. 

그래서 오늘은 많은 분들이 겪고있는 불면증에 대해 알아보고, 그 이유와 불면증을 해결하는 방법에 대해 소개해드리려 합니다. 

불면증이란?

다음 날 아침, 상쾌감을 느끼기에 충분한 시간동안 잠들지 못하거나 잠들 때 어려움을 겪는 것을 말합니다.

영국에서는 3명 중 1명에게 일어나는 문제이며 특히 노인들에게 많이 발생합니다.

불면증은 다음과 같은 현상을 나타냅니다. 

첫째, 잠들기가 어렵고

둘째, 밤에 오랜기간 깨어있거나 여러 번 일어납니다.

셋째, 아침 일찍 (새벽) 일어나서 다시 잠들 수 없습니다. 

넷째, 아침에 일어날 때 상쾌한 기분을 느낄 수 없습니다. 

다섯 째, 피곤함에도 불구하고 낮잠을 잘 수 없습니다. 

또한 낮에 피곤함에 짜증이 나서 집중하는데 어려움을 느끼곤 합니다. 

불면증은, 심각한 문제를 일으키지 않고 잠시 지나가기도 하지만, 어떤 사람들은 몇 달, 혹은 몇년동안 지속되기도 합니다. 

이렇게 오래 지속되는 불면증은 삶의 질에 큰 영향을 줄 수 있습니다. 

하루에 할 수 있는 일을 다 해내지 못하기도 하고, 기분에 영향을 미치며 가족과 친구 및 동료와의 관계에 대한 문제로 이어질 수 있습니다. 

평균적으로, 성인의 정상적인 수면 시간은 약 7~9시간으로 간주됩니다. 

어린이와 아기는 훨씬 많은 시간이 필요합니다. 반면에 노인은 더 적은 수면시간을 가지게 됩니다. 

하지만 중요한 것은, 얼만큼의 시간이 아니라 내가 충분한 수면을 느끼는지의 여부와 깊고 상쾌한 양질의 수면을 가졌는지 입니다.

하루종일 끊임없이 피곤하고 일상생활에 영향을 미친다면, 충분한 양질의 수면을 취하지 못한다고 할 수 있습니다.

불면증의 원인으로는 여러가지가 있을 수 있습니다. 

우선 스트레스와 불안으로 불면증을 일으킬 수 있습니다. 

또한 불편한 잠자리, 또는 열약한 수면 환경이 원인이 될 수도 있습니다. 

시차로 인한 피로, 교대 근무 또는 취침 전 알코올이나 카페인 섭취와 같은 생활습관도 불면증의 원인이 됩니다. 

우울증 및 정신분열증과 같은 정신 건강 상태가 좋지 못할 때도 불면증이 올 수 있습니다.

정신건강 뿐만 아니라 신체적 건강상태도 불면증을 일으킬 수 있습니다. 

또한 특정 의약품, 예를들면 항우울제나 간질 치료제, 스테로이드 치료제도 불면증을 유발 할 수 있습니다.

이런 불면증을 해결하는 방법에는 많은 것들이 있습니다.

첫째, 규칙적인 수면시간을 정합니다.

둘째, 취침 전에 따뜻한 물에 목욕을 하거나 진정 음악을 듣습니다.

셋째, 두꺼운 커튼 또는 블라인드, 안대 및 귀마개를 사용하여 빛과 소음으로부터 차단합니다.

넷째, 취침 전에 카페인, 니코틴, 알코올 등과 운동을 피하세요.

다섯쨰, 취침 전에 TV를 시청하거나 휴대폰, 태블릿, 컴퓨터 등을 사용하지 마세요.

여섯째, 낮잠을 자지 마세요.

일곱째, 걱정되는 일이 있거나 고민되는 일이 있다면 잠자리에 들기 전에는 해결방법을 찾아내거나 찾지 못하더라도 잠시 잊도록 노력합니다. 

요즘은 청소년부터 시작해서 젊은 청년들, 그리고 노인들에 이르기까지 많은 사람들이 불면증에 시달리고 있는것을 보게 됩니다.

삶이 팍팍하고 힘들어서 스트레스와 불안의 이유가 크겠죠.

하지만 불면증에서 해결되지 못한다면 나의 신체적, 정신적 건강은 계속 무너지고 말 것입니다. 

수면은 삶에 매우 중요한 요소이거든요.

잠들지 못하는 여러분, 오늘부터 무거운 마음의 짐은 내려놓고 잠들때만큼은 가벼운 마음을 갖도록 노력합시다.!

좀 더 열심히, 더욱 반복적으로 해야 100LS의 효과가 나타날텐데, ㅎㅎ

적당히 하고 적당히 접었던 것 같네요.

오늘이 Final 포스팅이지만,

전 앞으로 다시 시작하며 공부해야할것 같아요. ㅎㅎ

여러분도 다 끝났다고 생각마시고, 두세번 더 반복학습 해보시는것도 좋을 것 같아요 ^^

노력만큼 진실한게 없죠! ㅎㅎ

Nate : I... I flew up to Boston while you were gone. I interviewed at the Oak Room.

Andy : And?

Nate : And you're looking at their new sous-chef. I'm moving up there in a couple weeks.

Andy : Oh, that's great. Congratulations.

Andy : I don't know what I'm gonna do without those late-night grilled cheeses, but...

Nate : I'm pretty surethey have bread in Boston. May even have Jarlsberg. We might be able to figure something out.

Andy : You think?

Nate : Yeah.

Nate : So, what about you? I mean, what are you gonna do now?

Andy : Actually... I, uh, I have a job interview today.

Nate : Oh, yeah?

Andy :  Mm-hmm.

Nate : That's what you're wearing?

Andy : Shut up. I like this.

Grey : Andy. Greg Hill.

Andy : Hello.

Greg : Come on.

Greg : These clips are excellent. This thing on the janitors' union... that's exactly what we do here.

         My only question is, Runway? You were there for less than a year. What the hell kind of a blip is that?

Andy : Learned a lot.In the end, though, I kind of screwed it up.

Greg : I, uh, called over there for a reference, left word with some snooty girl.

         Next thing you know, I got a fax from a Miranda Priestly herself...

Greg : ... saying that of all the assistants she's ever had, you were by far her biggest disappointment.

Greg : And if I don't hire you, I am an idiot.

Greg : You must have done something right.

Emily : Miranda Priestly's office.

Andy : Hey, Emily, it's Andy.

Andy : Don't hang up. I have a favor to ask you.

Emily : You have a favor to ask to me?

Andy : Yeah.

Andy : The thing is, I have all these clothes from Paris... and I don't have any place to wear them,

          so I was wondering if you could take them off my hans.

Emily : Well, I don't know. It's a huge imposition. And I'll have to get them taken in. I mean, they'll drown me.

          But I suppose I could help you out. I will have Roy pick them up this afternoon.

Andy : Thanks, Em, I appreciate it. Good luck.

Emily : You have some very large shoes to filll.

Emily : I hope you know that.

Miranda : I don't understand why it's so challenging... to get my car when I ask for it.

Miranda : Go!

오늘은 하루 종일 비가 오려나 봅니다.

미세먼지가 다 씻겨져 나가는 것 같아 기분도 좋구요 ^^

시원해서 또 좋네요. ㅎㅎ

이렇게 맑아져서 계속계속 맑은 하늘 보면 좋겠어요!

저희 동네에는 벚꽃도 엄청 많이 피었어요!

이번에 비가 많이 오면 또 많이 떨어지겠찌만 ㅠㅠ

정말 봄이 왔음을 실감하고 있습니다. :)

다시한번 마음을 다잡고 새로운 한 해를 힘차게 시작해야겠어요!!

              Any of the other choices would have found that job impossible and the magazine would have suffered.

              Especially because of the list.

Miranda : The list of designers, photographers, editors, writers, models... all of whom were found by me, nurtured by me.

Miranda : ... and have Promised me they will follow me... whenever and if ever I chose to leave Runway.

            So he reconsidered.

Miranda : But I was very, very impressed by how intently you tried to warn me.

Miranda : I never thought I would say this, Andrea, but I really... I see a great deal of myself in you.

             You can see beyond what people want, and what they need... and you can choose for yourself.

Andy : I don't think I'm like that. I... I couldn't do what you did to Nigel, Miranda. And I couldn't do something like that.

Miranda : Mm... You already did.

              To Emily.

Andy : That's not what I... No, no. That was... that was different. I didn't have a choice.

Miranda : Oh, no, you chose. You chose to get ahead. You want this life, those choices are necessary.

Andy : But what if this isn't what I want? I mean, what if I don't wanna live the way you live?

Miranda : Oh, don't be ridiculous, Andrea. Everybody wants this. Everybody wants to be us.

               Jacqueline's a lot younger than Miranda. She has a fresher take on things.

               Not to mention that American Runway's one of the most expenive books in the business.

               Jacqueline does the same thing for a lot less money. And Irv, Irv's a businessman, you know.

Andy : Miranda will be devastated. her whole life is about Runway. He can't do that to her.

Christian : It's done. Irv's gonna tell Miranda after the party for James.

Andy : And she has no idea?

Christian : She's a big girl. She'll be fine.

Andy : I resent that.

Nigel : We're toasting, my dear, to the dream job. The one that a million girls wanted.

Andy : Which I got months ago.

Nigel : I'm not talking agout you.

Andy : Mm-hmm.

Nigel : James Holt?

Andy : Yeah.

Nigel : Massimo Corteleoni is investing in Jame's company and taking it global.

Andy : Mm-hmm.

Nigel : Bags, shoes, fragrances, the works. And James needs a partner. And that partner would be me.

Andy : Does Miranda...?

Nigel : No, no, Miranda knows...

Andy : Oh.

Nigel : Oh, because she put me up for it. Oh, God, no. Can you imagine?

Andy : But... but... but you're leaving.

Andy : I can't imagine Runway without you.

Nigel : I know, I know, but I'm so excited, though! For the first time in 18 years...

          I am going to be able to call the shots in my own life. Oh, my God!

          I'm going to be able to come to Paris and actually see Paris.

Andy : Well, congratulations.

Nigel : Huh? Oh.

Andy : Nigel, you deserve it.

Nigel : You bet your size-six ass.

Andy : Four.

Nigel : Really?

Andy : Cheers!

Nigel : Cheers to you.

Andy : To us.

Nigel : Let me see that.
