100LS, 둘째날 이네요 :)

 

100LS 첫 날, 열심히 들으며 말하며 공부하셨나요? ^^

 

저도 휴그랜트의 감미로운 목소리를 하루죙일 들었더니

조금은 들리더라구요. ㅎㅎㅎ 역시 무한반복의 힘!

 

그리고 영국영어와 미국영어의 발음 차이를 좀 느낄 수 있었어요.

 

영국영어가 꽤나 매력적인 것 같아요  ㅋㅋㅋ

 

오늘도 열심히 따라해 봐요 우리 ^^

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

William : Spike.

 

Spike : Hi. Hey. You couldn't help me with an incredibly important decision, could you?

 

William : This is important in comparison to, let's say, whether they should cancel the third world debt?

 

Spike : That's right. I'm at last going out on a date with the great Janine and I just want to be sure I've picked the right T-shirt.

 

William : What are the choices?

 

Spike : Well... wait for it....

 

Spike : First there's this one....

 

          Uh... cool, huh?

 

William : Yeah, might make it hard to strike a really romantic note.

 

Spike : Point taken. Don't despair. If it is romance we are looking for, I believe I have just the thing.

 

William : Yeah, well, there again - she might not think you had true love on your mind.

 

Spike : Right. Just one more.

 

Spike : True love! Hear I come!

 

William : Well, yes. Yeah, that's... that's, um, perfect.

 

Spike : Great. Thanks. Wish me luck.

 

William : Good luck.

And so it was just another hopeless Wednesday, as I walk the thousand yards through the market to work, never suspecting that this was the day that was gonna change my life forever. This is work, by the way, my little travel bookshop.

 

 

William : Morning, Martin.

 

Martin : Morning, Monsignor.

... which, um well, sells travel books - and, to be frank with you, doesn't always sell many of those.
